Description
A nice quality and attractive Chinese teabowl, thinly potted and translucent, decorated in a late famille verte palette of overglaze blue, green and red enamels and gilding, and dating from the Yongzheng or early Qianlong period c1730-1740. The outside of the bowl is well decorated with three gilt birds flying amidst flowers and butterflies. There is a single flower spray in the interior. Diameter 8.8cm (3.5”)

Condition This teabowl has one tight and unstained hairline extending around 1cm from the rim (which is very difficult to see). No chips and no restoration. The enamels are in very good condition, as can be appreciated from the images.
