Description
A Chinese export large plate or charger, decorated in underglaze blue, and dating from the Yongzheng period. The rim of the plate is painted with flowering branches, and the centre of the plate is decorated with flower heads and more flower sprays within diaper bands. The plate has a brown-dressed rim. The back of the plate has been decorated with two swiftly-drawn branches. Diameter 26.5cm (10.4")
Dating: Yongzheng c1725-35
Condition:
This plate is in very good condition. There are two small glaze frits at the rim, and one small rim chip - see images. No cracks and no restoration
