Description
An attractive Chinese Yixing teapot with an elegant pear-shaped form and a rich colour and exellent surface patina, and dating to the Eighteenth or Nineteenth Centuries. This teapot has a soft shine to the surface. Four character mark to the base, together with a red ink number. Height 10.5cm (4.1") to the top of the knop.
Dating: Eighteenth/Nineteenth Century
Condition:
This teapot is in very good condition. There is a small chip to the edge of the sleeve of the lid - see images. Otherwise no damage and no restoration. There are a few dark surface marks to the body of the teapot, and a few light surface marks for handling and use - please see images
